Frank is TUF

August 30, 2012 Posted by admin

It a great thing to see our people of the Marianas doing big things! Frank the Crank will make his debut on The Ultimate Fighter for it’s new season and we expect him to get into the house. This young gun has worked his ass off taking every opportunity to improve his fighting and to put him in the right position to get where he is. Training outta the Lloyd Irvin camp, he was destined to be seen and accomplish his great goal being inspired to work hard with other great fighters around him! A humble man who has remained loyal to every who has helped him along the way, he is built to be on this stage. Now don’t mistake his kindness for weakness because once you are in the cage with “The Crank” it’s a world of pain ready to react like a catapult! So to our bruddah getting ready for the biggest fight of his career thus far – we wish you all the best and support you and all you do! Zeng Zung! Fokai! Fa’um Chelu!

Do you want to Impeach Fitial?

August 17, 2012 Posted by admin

Can this inexcusable fiasco get any worse in the CNMI? I ask our leaders – “What the hell is going on?!” How do these things happen mysteriously and why can’t our public servants focus on the work ahead instead of fighting amongst one another with hidden agendas. Can we pass meaningful, forward thinking bills that work with our goal to revive the islands. We cannot blame this collapse solely on the one person, but it is the fault of our leadership in general. The people we elected and can take out with our votes and organization. Technology is beautiful! It seems like we have a lot of work to do to save our healthcare, shameful retirement lack of funds, 40-1 education quotas, and an infrastructure that is ancient. I agree that the way Fitial has allegedly handled things is a bit suspicious and all the other elements of this so called approval makes no sense. I want to hear all sides and I also have my questions I’d like to ask. We will get to the bottom of it, but it just seems like another distraction to invest any more time than we already have. Let it take it’s natural course with the investigation and let’s continue to push forward and address our emergencies on the horizon! If Impeaching the Governor of Saipan is a solution to help our CNMI then the people and our elected officials will make the right choice.

$5.10 a gallon in Paradise!

August 16, 2012 Posted by admin

“With mystery 100 million dollar deals, delivered, signed, sealed, ridiculous taxes on power bills, and more battle up the hill, our healthcare at a standstill, while we got grandma ill, a failure to just keep it real – it’s amazing how our people continue maintaining and not kill!”

It’s amazing how much gas is these days even for those of us in the United States. Unfortunately, my people in the Marianas experience an even higher rate for this gallon. Your petro is officially $5.10 a gallon! I still remember how hard it was to keep up with gas money the last time I visited and wanted see the the sights. I guess we have to pick our battles and go down this long list to recovery.

Healthcare Crisis in Saipan

http://mvariety.com/cnmi/cnmi-news/local/48801-breaking-news-chc-clinics-closed-until-further-notice.php

Well, I guess we can say that we knew something like this was just right around the corner. As we search for solutions and a way to restore the basic operations for the public, we also are trying to figure out who the culprits are and how did we get to this point? We are only hurting our people and this is yet another wake up call demanding our public servants do more and plan to effectively make an impact in what’s to come. They are many experts out there that could’ve predicted this and many who would also make sure we didn’t come to this point. It’s too late to prevent this drastic measure! We need to really take a good look at what is going and prepare means to recover and never let this happen again.
