We finally got to catch the last one with @rufusfightko and it was an amazing event with epic battles and a full house to witness all the excitement! As we worked overnight to help out Aaron of Stay On Flux, we ran into a CNMI native who happen to be wearing Stay On Flux and recognized the general stripes of the Rufus logo he also turned out to be a fighter who fought in the PXC series! Small World!

The NW Fight Scene voted this gym the Best in Oregon and voted Nick Gilardi, Alive MMA’s Head Coach of MMA, the Coach of the Year! Their team continues to grow and more recently their heavyweight division is becoming a force to reckon with! Support your local MMA!

I met Mr. Poole close to a decade ago as he was preparing for his journey to film what would become the Invisible Children. I remember his proud mom sharing her story about how her young son was about to film a documentary in a far away place. I saw the campaign materialize and form its voice. I supported it then and I am proud to see the amazing things he has achieved with his comrades. I knew his mother, Gayle. We worked together while I was finishing my final year of college. She was such a wonderful person. She would always encourage me and take notice of my hard work. I felt like she cared and that made my time at work bearable. She honestly made an impact in my life and I can see how her son was inspired to do something great for soother people. Let us pledge our support and continue to work together to better things for our children. A better world for our future to inherit! I pledge my support! What are you fighting for?

The kick off of the United Nesia series with Parker Yobei featuring Valufa out of Oakland, California.

I got to experience the fight scene in Bend Oregon for the first time at Budo Fights, and it was an amazing experience! First off, these guys know how to throw a spectacular show complete with martial arts demonstrations, fashion models, huge screens, and beautiful ring girls! The hospitality of Steven Valentine of NW Fight scene was unmatched and the Rufus Familia felt at home in Bend! The home crowd was in attendance to support their local men and women, and they did not hesitate to let the fighters know who’s side they were on! A good variety of vendors were on hand promoting their products and services. All in all, it was an exciting night for all involved and a successful one for the seventh installment of the Budo Fights series! Congrats to Paul Heatherman for believing in the event and all others involved in making it even better every year! If you haven’t seen one yet, you really missing out on one of the best experience in the MMA industry!

If you haven’t seen this 19 year old giant yet, you’re in for a treat! Representing Knoxx Fight team and now an official member of the Alive MMA Fight Team, this younger has challenged some of the best in his weight class! Look for him at the next FCFF event March 10th as he takes on 503 West Coast Jiu Jitsu’s Damion Martindale! This is gonna be a greg battle for the belt!

There is something to be said about and establishment when they win Best Gym and Best Coach in their state! With an impressive winning record, Nick Gilardi with the guidance of veteran Bill Bradley continue to lead their team into battle prepared to be the best! Alive returned to Budo Fight this past weekend and continued their win streak lead by Sean Baker who finished with a belt!
